The Joshua Szostak Memorial Golf Tournament is having our 1st Annual Golf Tournament on Saturday July17th 2010 , at Colonie Town Golf Course. Who is Joshua? Joshua was an outgoing young man who was very aware of global issues. He was attending college at SUNY Plattsburgh and majoring in journalism. Joshua wanted to travel overseas and report on the truth; covering controversy in Africa to what was occurring in Iraq. But on December 23, 2007 Joshua s dream was cut short, and he was not seen again in until he was finally found April 22, 2008 in the Hudson River. This tournament is to raise money for The Joshua Szostak Scholarship, which will aid in other students who want to pursue work in journalism and global issues.
